Iron Mountain
Synopsis
This documentary series follows the daily lives of tough jobs workers at the mega Mont-Wright mining complex, one of the largest iron ore mine in America. It's a world of disproportionate trucks and giant infrastructures, where the stakes are high, the work titanic, arduous and fascinating to observe.
Located in Northern Quebec, Fermont is a company town protected by THE WALL, a structure designed to be a windscreen protecting it from the harsh elements and inspired by that of Svappavaara, an iron mining town in Sweden. Fermont is more than just a 'job' - it's a lifestyle choice, an experience that offers a unique, intriguing, and fascinating way of life.
